Gallery dedicated to longtime Hannibal artist

HANNIBAL, Mo. -- The Hannibal Arts Council has officially named a portion of its gallery space the Len Moss Gallery in honor of Hannibal artist Len Moss.

The 101-year old longtime Hannibal resident has been involved with HAC since its beginnings and was also involved in the founding of the Hannibal Folklife Festival in 1976. He has held many roles and responsibilities within the organization. His period costuming and dapper appearance has made him a quintessential figure in the Folklife festival, the Arts Council said.

Select works by Len Moss are now being exhibited in the Len Moss Gallery through March 24. Regular gallery hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday and Wednesday to Friday and 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. HAC is located at 105 S. Main St. in Hannibal.
