All ages, skill levels welcome to register for QCT classes

QUINCY -- Quincy Community Theatre invites students and adults to discover their creative side in a theatre class this spring.

Seven new theater courses are available this spring for grades K-12 and adults, including two instructed by professional guest artist Chad Tallon. Tallon is a professional teacher, actor and director from Chicago. Currently the drama teacher at Thomas Metcalf School in Bloomington, Tallon's professional acting credits include both national tours and regional productions.

All courses are designed to give people of all experience levels a safe space to explore different topics, refine their acting training and technique, enhance their interpersonal and public speaking skills, gain confidence, meet other creative individuals, and try something new.

The registration deadline for all classes is Feb. 12. Tuition information is available online or at the QCT Box Office. Limited scholarships are available for those who would benefit from financial assistance. Applications can be found online at or in the QCT Box Office.

A program using volunteer work at the theater to pay for classes is also available for parents and students ages 10 and older. For more information, visit
